The Resident Status Monitor gives a snapshot of each resident’s status.
The Monitor typically runs on a PC located in the staff work area.
The status of each resident is color coded for easy recognition.
The color-coded status is a measurement of the resident’s in-bed activity –
a composite of cardiac function, respiration and body movement.
A high or low activity measurement signals a potential problem with the resident. Clicking on a resident’s name displays a summary of services recently given to the resident, when the service was given and the staff member that performed the service. This summary also lists any periods of high or low resident activity. |
