The MedICAN/LMT Administrative Interface gives management a tool for monitoring staff activities
– a critical function for the efficient management of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
The Administrative Interface is web-based so managers and supervisors can view status reports anytime, anywhere,
even from home. The MedICAN/LMT Administrative Interface provides a detailed “audit trail” of all staff activities including what services a staff member performed, the resident or bed where the service was performed and when the service was performed. Management can use this information to monitor the performance of staff members. The figure below is an audit-trail report showing all the services performed by a particular staff member. Similar reports are available showing all services performed for a particular resident. |

Facilities can define a set of services unique to their operation and monitoring requirements.
Typical services might include: Routine Visit, Change Bedding, Serve Food, Remove Food Tray, Check Vital Signs, Physical Therapy etc.
Different service menus can be provided for different staff classifications. Reviewing the frequency that staff members perform services for residents is important. The figure below shows one of the reports that give management an insight to how well staff members are serving the residents. The report identifies several long time intervals where no services were performed. |
