System Overview

The figure shows an overview of the entire Resident Monitoring System including the Bedside Monitor with RFID and touch screen, the Fiber-Optic Monitoring Coil in the Resident’s Bed and the Staff Workstation with the Resident Status Monitor. The system also includes a central database base for storing resident and staff data and a web server supporting the browser-based Administrative Interface.
